Each module can be delivered as a stand-alone session, and takes about an hour.

Modules include facilitator guidance, timings, discussion prompts and structured activities, so you can focus on leading the conversation, not creating the material.

Created from 15 years of learning practice.

Page One was created by Majella Munro, a learning designer, writer, and educator with experience across higher education and corporate learning. 

Majella holds a PhD, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice, and a CIPD award in Coaching and Learning & Development. 

She has worked for multiple sectors and industries, across four continents, supporting over a million learning sessions. She has managed design teams, supporting onboarding, capability development, and upskilling, including at companies serving the AI hyperscalers. 

Page One brings together practical learning design experience with writing and storytelling expertise to help instructional designers develop the judgement they need to create clear, effective learning experiences.

Who is the Facilitator Pack for?

It's designed for instructional design managers, L&D leaders, facilitators, and experienced learning professionals who want to help others develop stronger instructional writing skills. It can be used with new instructional designers, career changers, or existing teams who want to improve the quality and consistency of their learning content. 

What's included?

Everything you need to facilitate Page One learning sessions, including guidance for running the activities, discussion prompts, delivery notes, timings and practical exercises. It's designed to reduce the preparation required while giving you enough flexibility to adapt the experience to your teams and context. 

How does it relate to the Guide?

The Facilitation Pack can be used with the Page One Guide, but both can also be used as standalone pieces. The Pack gives structured support to introduce and practise Page One principles The Guide enables your learners to implement those principles in their day-to-day work.

You can use the resources independently, or use them together for an ongoing development programme.

What can I do with the materials?

Your purchase licenses use of the Facilitator Guide for your own internal training and development activities. You can use it across multiple sessions to staff within your organisation, subject to the terms of the licence. The materials are not intended for resale, redistribution, or further commercial distribution. 

How much preparation will I need to deliver it?

It's designed to minimise preparation. Each activity includes the information you need to understand its purpose and guide participants through. The Pack is structured progressively, and each module can be delivered as a stand alone session. If you're planning to deliver selected modules, you'll want to spend some time choosing those and scheduling your spaced sessions.
